BMW has employed ALPINA’s fire-breathing XD3 in BMW X3. It converted the car into medium sized luxurious SUV with advance specifications of the engine such as 330bhp twin-turbocharged diesel engine with six-cylinders. The advancements are improving the performance of SUV with some serious high-performance hardware. The SUV can crack the speed of 100km/h within 4.6 seconds and stop until 265km/h. blower clocks were a power back of 245 kW, while torque drops up to 700Nm.
ALPINA has decided to the debut of XD3 in the Geneva motor show 2018 for its first public look. ALPINA Australia is not confirmed yet that they will offer XD3 version locally. But they are offering the series of B3, B4, B7 and extended up to B5. However, Australian people won’t be able to buy the spiteful version of BMW SUV with watered-down XD3 until they decide to make it available for local showrooms. If the company offered XD3 in Australia it will be a diet version of XD3 with two turbos rather than six.
ALPINA is automobile manufacturer that has a long association with BMW to produce a range of advanced cars based on existing model of BMW. The company adds its mechanical magic to add up specifications to BMW car by working on the interior, exterior, suspension and exhaust model. Only BMW X3 M40i challenge the SUV as it has a twin-turbocharged engine with six cylinders that will get 100km/h in less than 4.8 seconds. Price of this SUV is to be announced. It is expected that the car will be in the market by second half of the year.
