The most popular Google Inbox app launched in 2014, is now getting updated to make the users task of managing their emails simple. Initially the app was available for users on invitation basis only. The app helps you to organize your emails in proper manner and combine the similar stuffs together. Google Inbox allows users to delete large number of unwanted and junk emails with just a single swipe.
Now, to further ease the task of its users, the new update for Inbox will help users to receive the notification regarding the high priority emails only and not every email that clings your inbox. This will help users to keep their eye only on emails that matters to them the most and declutter rest of the unwanted emails.
Features of Google Inbox
The app categorizes all the similar emails into different categories like primary, promotions, social, updates etc. The users can manually set new categories so that the emails can directly go into that specific category.
Creating new categories will help the users to delete a set of emails with a single click or swipe and erase out whole category.
Until now Google Inbox app has proved to be beneficial for its users and it is providing users will more features.
The high priority notification update
The new update to the app will allow users to set notifications for only those emails that have high priority and for rest of the emails the notification will be disabled. This will help users to get notification only regarding the important emails that they are expecting.
The feature is already available for some users as of now. The notification can be turned on or off as per the user’s requirement. The feature will roll out globally very soon via server side update or via OTA notification.
To check if you are eligible for this update or not, open the Inbox app and go to the menu by clicking on three lines in the upper left corner. Then, click on Settings and check the notification. If you see any notification here then only you can use high priority feature.
The feature is currently available for Android and iOS platform and only for selected users.
